Client Account Manager

As a Client Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for nurturing and managing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and maximize value. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact, understanding client needs, and aligning them with our services and solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and challenges.
  • Account Oversight: Serve as the main liaison between Session Interactive and its clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to develop strategies aligned with their business goals, utilizing our services and products effectively.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services or products to meet client needs and enhance value.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges, working closely with internal teams to find solutions.
  • Client Retention: Develop strategies to retain existing clients, fostering loyalty and long-term partnerships.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Assist in forecasting and planning based on client needs and market trends.
  • Budget: Determine the appropriate allocation of hours across various tasks, considering timelines and resource availability.
  • Resource Management: Work closely with internal teams to allocate resources efficiently. Ensure that team members understand hour allocations and deadlines for each project. 
  • Monitoring and Adjustment: Regularly monitor the utilization of allocated hours. Identify any deviations or potential overruns and take proactive measures to address them. This may involve reallocating hours or proposing adjustments to meet project milestones.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide clear and concise reports on the internal teams hour allocations, usage, and any changes made. Communicate effectively with both clients and internal stakeholders regarding budgetary concerns. 
  • Optimization and Efficiency: Continuously assess and improve processes to optimize strategies. Identify opportunities for greater efficiency without compromising project quality. 

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in client-facing roles or account management, preferably in a Digital Marketing industry. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at building rapport and conveying complex information clearly.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation techniques to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing client needs and industry trends.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

Here are some highlights of what you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll manage 5-6 of Session Interactives midsize to enterprise accounts, getting deeply ingrained with their business goals and helping to craft the teams overarching holistic strategy for tackling them.
  • You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams (100% digital) across Paid Media, SEO, and Analytics ensuring all channels are highly integrated and closely aligned to the overarching client goals.
  • You’ll develop deep expertise in the client’s business and industry, bubbling up relevant insights, challenges, and opportunities that deepen our client partnership.
  • You’ll develop deep knowledge and understanding of the digital channels that support your client’s business, hopping into data visualization dashboards and gaining familiarity with the Session<>Client tech stack to unpack strategy and ensure our recommendations are rooted in data.
  • You know successful marketing campaigns require integrating data, and you aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves with our data team to architect a solution.
  • You’ll be responsible for client retention, account profitability, and contract growth (where applicable).

Operations Manager

We are Session Interactive, a dynamic and fast-growing digital marketing agency, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our marketing operations, including the project management process, learning management process, sales process, and other functions. The Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our digital marketing programs, campaigns, and initiatives. The candidate must have a strong background in marketing technology and project management.

This role will start out at roughly 10-20 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours based on performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of digital marketing operations, including our project management tool, sales process, learning management process, etc. 
  • Develop and implement process automation strategies for all aspects of all client engagement from start to finish.
  • Successfully build-out process for internal Session Interactive team members focused on onboarding, management, hiring, and offboarding.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive digital marketing learning management database within SLAB focused on core service deliverables, working directly with the practice area leads to gaining insight and building a complete training structure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SEO, SEM, analytics, and content, to develop and execute improvement processes for each channel.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing technologies, trends, and best practices.

In addition, the Marketing Operations Manager will:

  • Manage the digital sales process and ensure that the digital marketing team is aligned with the sales team’s objectives.
  • Work closely with the digital sales team to develop and implement lead qualification and scoring processes within our CRM. 
  • Implement and manage a digital learning management system to ensure that the digital marketing team is trained on the latest digital marketing technologies and best practices.
  • Develop and implement a digital project management framework to ensure that all digital marketing initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing operations or a related field within a digital marketing agency context.
  • Experience with project management and learning management tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Slack, and other Google products, etc. 
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with data visualization tools 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional digital marketing teams.

Lead SEO Specialist

At Session Interactive, we run a fully remote digital marketing agency focused on SEO, Analytics, and Paid Lead Generation. We are looking for a strong SEO team member to help improve our client results and also our own internal SEO performance.

We are an exciting, fast-growing company with ample opportunity for advancement and long-term compensation potential for someone who’s great at the role and a good fit with our culture (fun, driven, entrepreneurial).

This is a part-time role with the potential to turn into full-time for the right person. We’re looking for someone with experience creating strong results for mid-market and enterprise businesses.

This role will start out at roughly 10-20 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours based on performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Determining effective SEO strategies for our clients and setting goals around keywords, pages, rankings, etc.
  • Taking the lead role on performing “SEO Roadmaps” for clients (a detailed SEO audit and strategy)
  • Quarterly reporting back to clients on the progress we’ve made on our SEO goals as well as identifying potential areas for improvement
  • Communicating client details to our SEO operations team on Slack & Google Sheets regarding various SEO project-based and campaign-related tasks
  • Improving our own SEO at Session Interactive

Expectations:

  • Be active on our slack channel and fairly responsive – doesn’t have to be immediate, but ideally, you can reply within a couple of hours.
  • Meet and strategize with clients on regularly scheduled weekly video conference meetings
  • Email clients directly regarding SEO strategy and ongoing tasks
  • Hours don’t have to be strictly within 9 am-5 pm, but availability during the normal working hours is ideal to adhere to client schedules as needed
    • Primary hours are within the MST timezone
  • Occasionally hop on sales prospect as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • English as a first language is preferred, but not required.

Skills we're looking for:

  • Excellent understanding of overall SEO – both on-page, off-page, and technical and proven experience getting results for clients
  • Solid understanding of link building and anchor text selection
  • Advanced working knowledge of the following tools:
    • GSC and GA
    • Ahrefs, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, etc
    • Google Trends
    • Basic SERP
    • All Google products including, slides, docs, and sheets
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Gets things done on time (if you say X will be good to go on Thursday, it gets done on Thursday)
